Casino Roulette
Casino Roulette gets its name from the French for “little wheel” and it is argued that casino roulette was in fact created as a failed result to produce a perpetual motion machine. The Principles of casino roulette are fairly simple, whereby the player can place a bet on as many numbers as there are available, odds or evens and red or black. The winning number and colour is determined by the casino roulette wheel being spun in one direction and a ball in the other direction, the slot where the ball comes to rest is the winner. There are two major forms of casino roulette, European roulette and American Roulette with the only real difference between two being that an American casino roulette wheel will have a “0” and a “00” and a European roulette wheel will only have the “0”. Obviously this improves the house advantage slightly for American roulette. Many people have tried coming up with systems for casino roulette but the simple fact is that no matter what system you employ in casino roulette the house will always have the advantage. Many systems use the flawed principle that if 6 reds in a row have come in then a black is more likely to come next, because every spin of the casino roulette wheel is a unique event it means that a red or a black have exactly the same odds of coming up every spin and these odds never change. People have won huge amounts of money on the casino roulette table in the past but this was down to the table bias and not a system. Quite simply if the balance of the casino roulette table is out this can cause the ball to land in one area of the table more regularly than it should, thus giving an observant player a huge advantage over the house. Most casinos have now addressed this problem ever since one group of professional gamblers took a casino for nearly $4m. Laser sighting/predicting in casino roulette is now the threat to the casinos and because players are not interfering with the casinos equipment it has been ruled they are not committing an offence.
